A research project on the benefits to postpartum women from a mobile application that allows them to maintain daily contact with a multidisciplinary team for breastfeeding support and the detection of women at risk of developing postpartum depression. This randomized controlled trial demonstrated that the introduction of a smartphone-based daily feedback and counseling platform between postpartum patients and a multidisciplinary breastfeeding support team increased lactation rates after delivery with excellent patient satisfaction.
