This project aims to expand communication skills training for gynecologists at Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, enhancing empathetic communication and trauma-informed care during gynecological exams. It combines several components:

• Workshop for Medical Residents – Includes lectures, simulations with actors, group facilitators, and a session with a social worker addressing doctors' experiences.

• Follow-up Meetings – Continued discussions and skill practice with the social worker based on workshop insights.

• Effectiveness Assessment – Patient and doctor surveys conducted before, immediately after, and months post-workshop.
  

Having been proven effective, this outstanding initiative won an expansion grant by the Bor’ot incubator in order to provide training to medical staff in other hospitals nationwide.

Dr. Anna Padua – Head of Pelvic Floor Disorders at Shamir Medical Center, specializing in sexual health. Founder and secretary of ITT-The Israeli Society for Sexual Trauma Treatment & Prevention.

Dr. Maayan Gal Kochav – OB-GYN resident at Shamir Medical Center.
